The essence of sustainable land usage is revealed in the context of ideology, general provisions and methodology of the sustainable development concept. State role and functions regarding the land relationships socialization are described in the process of distribution and land usage with an orientation to the interests of society. Priority measures of state bodies are outlined, taking into account European integration obligations.
